The Bulldog Pride Fund Scholarship is awarded to incoming or returning student to Fresno State with good academic standing that have demonstrated pride in the community. The Bulldog Pride Fund also honors one students affiliation to the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Network every year, and it could be you!

Colin Higgins Foundation Scholarship
The Colin Higgins Foundation honors the vision and spirit of gifted writer and filmmaker Colin Higgins by reflecting his values and addressing the issues that concerned him. Supports LGBT youth through Youth Courage Awards to individual youth (ages 13-24) who have endured overwhelming hardships due to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity, yet have handled themselves with the utmost grace. In 2012, three (3) honorees will receive a $10,000 grant which will be presented in New York City at the Trevor Project Benefit Gala in June. Honorees will also receive an expense-paid trip to the 2012 National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Creating Change Conference.
Nominations are due by February 29, 2012!

eQuality Scholarship Collaborative

The eQuality Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from high school who are looking to attend an accredited post-secondary college, university or trade/vocational school. Applicants must have provided service to the LGBT community, display leadership and have academic achievement. Dedicated to awarding 12 or more $5,000 scholarships, the eQuality Scholarship awards both LGBT and straight ally students.

Harvey Milk Scholarship

The Harvey Milk Project is accepting applications for the inaugural “Harvey Milk Hope Award†of $2,000 to be presented to a Fresno State junior or senior enrolled in the Humanics Certificate Program (community benefit administration/non-profit organization management).

KarMel Scholarship
The KarMel Scholarship was created to encourage students to write/create something that will express their views on the gay/lesbian/bi/transgender topic. It is designed to challenge students to create something unique and to showcase the many talented artisans/writers. High school students, undergrad and graduate students can apply. You do not need to be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender to apply!

PFLAG National Scholarship
PFLAG is proud to support articulate, accomplished scholars with great promise for future contribution to our society in general and to the cause of rights and recognition for LGBT people in particular. The PFLAG National Scholarship is available to high school seniors entering higher education in 2012 in $5000, $2500, $1000 awards.

Point Foundation Scholarship
The Point Foundation provides scholarships, mentorship, leadership training and hope for students of merit who have been marginalized due to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. In addition to financial support, Point Foundation matches each scholar with a mentor who is a successful professional in fields such as the arts, science, education, business, law, medicine and other humanities.
