The Rainbow Delegation, founded September 18, 2010, is Central Valley’s largest grassroot organization dedicated to creating visual support systems for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community. Through the power of LGBT and straight ally individuals, the Rainbow Delegation has grown around the world with over 80,000 wristbands distributed to date. Founded by Matt Mazzei, and spearheaded through the work of volunteers, the Rainbow Delegation continues to show community members that they are not alone by incorporating a diverse audience to show that everyone does belong.
